This heavy-duty industrial mixer with ribbon style agitator was designed with a carbon steel finish to mix 5200 lb. batches of PVC powders with a bulk density of 45 ppcf and 120 cu.ft. mixing capacity. It includes an integral dimpled jacket in hi-temp enamel paint. Consistency, durability and clean ability… these three concepts are crucial when selecting mixing equipment for the plastics industry. Plastic resins need to be consistently blended without damage. Extruded plastic pellets need to be collected in large quantities and then standardized in a mixer durable enough to start under load. Compounds with color additives must be processed in equipment that will not carry-over from batch to batch. Marion products are ideally suited for use in the plastics industry.
