N/Agel-filled pH electrodes are designed for use in reactors, tanks, open basins and transfer lines under harsh process conditions. The sensors are factory-filled with a gel reference electrolyte under pressure (2.5 bar). They offer features characteristic of liquid-electrolyte electrodes with pressurized housings. The internal over-pressure prevents backflux of process media into the reference half cell, and outflow of electrolyte keeps the diaphragm clog-free. The sensors feature a silver-ion trap designed to effectively eliminate diaphragm contamination for the entire life of the sensor, even with prolonged exposure to elevated process temperatures.
