Geared Resolvers

This company has expanded its offering of geared resolvers to include ratios from 2:1 to 36:1, which is said to eliminate the need for external gear reducers in many applications where outputs are tracked over multiple revolutions, and increase resolver input effectiveness. Coupled with the company's PLµS controllers, this line of geared resolvers makes it possible to control the majority of machine processes.

These geared resolvers have a specific ratio of resolver input shaft turns to resolver shaft turns. The gear reduction allows users to convert multiple machine shaft revolutions into one resolver shaft revolution without adding gearboxes, pulleys, or sprockets to obtain proper ratios.

The resolvers are suitable for applications including material handling equipment, form/fill/seal packaging machines, cartoners, conveyors, printing, silk screening,and metal grinding. They feature heavy-duty dual bearing construction and standard mounting configurations.
