FSMA Fridays: Environmental Controls (Part One Of Three)
SafetyChain Software’s VP of Marketing, Jill Bender is joined by The Acheson Group’s (TAG) VP of Scientific Affairs, Dr. Peyman Fatemi, and TAG’s Senior Director of Food Safety and Regulatory Affairs, Gurjit Shergill, to share insight on the latest news with FSMA, the importance of an environmental controls program, and the key principles of environmental controls.
Jill: Thank you so much for joining us for FSMA Fridays. It is hard to believe we're already in November. This year has certainly flown by and a lot has happened on the FSMA front. As always, I expect a very interactive and informative session with our monthly session here and we are excited to get started. My name is Jill Bender, VP of Marketing with SafetyChain. Today's topic will be around environment controls. If you have questions, we'll do our best to try to answer as they come in and/or after we go through some of the pre-submitted questions, or we'll take some off the line if we don't get to all of them.

Jill: I am just absolutely delighted also to welcome Gurjit Shergill with TAG. She has been well-indoctrinated with TAG and has been with them for a good bit of time now, but this will be her first FSMA Friday. We'll try to go easy on her, but we look forward to have you as part of our dialogue today, too. Welcome.
