This robotics freezer palletizing system is designed to operate in the sub-zero environments of frozen food warehouses and manufacturing facilities - operating in temperatures down to - 30 degrees F, without a negative impact on performance.

The system includes a proprietary M-410i robot with a vacuum gripper and has been in continuous production in a global fast food manufacturer's freezer for over 6 months. The system de-palletizes cases of frozen food product from pallets and palletizes them into retail distribution racks.
Results show that working in this harsh environment has not impaired the performance of the robot.

The system is resistant to harsh environments because a protective suit keeps the robot at a reasonable temperature. When the temperature inside the suit drops below the robot's minimum operating temperature, a heating system supplies warm air into the suit.

The system removes workers from the hazards of working in sub-zero temperatures, where they can only operate for 20 - 30 minutes before taking a break to warm up. The robotic palletizing system increases productivity and reduces hazardous risks.
