Food and Beverage Analyzer

FOSS NIRSystems, Inc.od and Beverage Analyzer provides at-line fast, reagent-free, multi-constituent analyses of a wide variety of food products and ingredients. It makes possible simultaneous determinations in a single sample of fat, moisture, fiber, protein, solids, sugars, brix, starch, and other common analytes in less than a minute.

Sample preparation, in most cases, is as simple as placing the sample in one of the sample cups, placing it in the analyzer, and hitting the key on the computer for routine analysis. The same analyzer can be used for multiple products and recipes in the plant.

The analyzer helps processors achieve first pass manufacturing, enabling least-cost formulations with greater lot-to-lot consistency. It is widely used for process control because its results are much faster and usually more precise than wet chemistry.
