Praxair Inc.Series Flighted Tunnel Freezers inhibit moisture loss, and preserve flavor and texture in individually quick-frozen (IQF) foods. The freezers can easily be adjusted to chill or freeze a range of raw and cooked products, including shrimp, scallops, vegetables, berries, diced fruit, meatballs, pizza toppings and diced poultry.
Loose food products move through the in-line freezer at production speed; flighted conveyors gently tumble food pieces as they're impacted on all sides with high-velocity cryogen. This prevents clumping and ensures maximum cryogen exposure for quick and thorough freezing.
These modular freezers are field-expandable, USDA-approved, and easy to operate, maintain and clean.
