Fisher-Rosemount Systems Gets Record Six First Place Wins in Control Magazine's 1999 Reader's Choice Awards

Fisher Rosemount Systems, Inc.pany%> was recognized by the readers of Control Magazine who placed the company first in five product categories, first in both training and customer service, and second in four additional product categories eclipsing all other process automation manufacturers.

The first place wins in product categories include, Full Scale Distributed Control Systems, Batch Management Software. The awards were published in the January issue of Control Magazine and were based on surveys of their readers. Fisher-Rosemount in total increased its lead over the competition by capturing 21 top scores in 1999.

Control Magazine said, "Winning the top scores in 21 categories, Emerson electric's Fisher-Rosemount group continued to break their own record, proving themselves a manufacturing powerhouse in process and control instrumentation. The company…gained four additional top spots this year, compared to 1998's 17 leading positions and 1997's 12." <%=company%>' product categories included Smaller Scale Integrated Control Systems, Neural Network Software, Expert System Software and Loop Tuning Software.

Each year Control Magazine conducts a survey of its readership on over 60 product and service categories. Only users of automation were counted in the survey. Members of supplier organizations were excluded. This year the survey results achieved a 90% confidence level with a 3% margin of error. For the last three years Fisher-Rosemount has led the industry in the number of awards received.
