New "FH" Digital Temperature Gauge For Retort Applications
Brochure: "DTG" Digital Temperature Gauge
We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of our new FH series Digital Temperature Gauge (DTG) for use in Retort applications.
Changes in the Code of Federal Regulations governing this industry now allow for an "Alternate Temperature Indicating Device" to be installed on Retorts, directly replacing existing mercury-in-glass thermometers. The DTG complies with all aspects of this recent re-write.
Our dual element temperature sensor ensures that accurate and reliable readings are always available; no downtime from broken thermometers or split scales. Process temperature is viewed by the operator on a large 0.9" LCD display – a big improvement over tough to read mercury-in-glass scales. An all electronic system finally means no more mercury and glass in the facility!
Each DTG is supplied from the factory pre-calibrated to an NIST traceable temperature standard, and is ready to put into service upon receipt. For facilities with in-house calibration requirements, the DTG offers up to five "User Cal" points. Calibrations can now be performed that accurately track the varying process temperatures. Outdated mercury-in-glass thermometers only allow field calibration at a single reference point, making readings suspect as the process conditions change.
Numerous fittings are available making cross referencing an existing MIG an easy task. For difficult to read areas of the process, a remote mount display is also available.
