Facilities Design & Construction Co. (FD&CC) Announces Construction Project At Leiby's Dairy
The project features a state of the art ice cream processing area, mix storage tanks, Q/C laboratory, offices, a relocated tray type blast freezer, palletizing room, dry dock, cooler dock, racked freezer storage area and a central ammonia refrigeration system. The ice cream mix will be produced in Leiby's Dairy's existing facility and trucked to the new plant.
The main factor that influenced Leiby's Dairy's to use FDI and FD&CC services was our unique approach to Engineer-Led "Design-Bid-Build". Our approach combines the best features of the most common project delivery methods (Owner/GC, Design-Bid, Design/Build, and partnering) to provide the following:

Our goal with each project is to lower the cost to the Owner and shorten the construction project schedule. We strive to build higher quality buildings at or below current SF costs. We provide to the Owner the quality he is currently paying for, but is not currently receiving with other popular project delivery methods.
