Without regular, proper maintenance, grease traps can become major sanitation problems for food preparation establishments. Backups and odors that often accompany poorly maintained grease traps result in kitchen down time and costly cleanups.
Using two strains of Pseudomonas bacteria developed specifically to aggressively breakdown oils and greases, the BioAmp can drastically reduce grease build up in grease traps and keep drain lines free of accumulation. Because the BioAmp dispenses only vegetative bacteria, oil and grease is completely digested rather than liquefied and sent down stream. The BioAmp will drastically diminish the need for other maintenance procedures while reducing the backups and foul odors associated with grease accumulation.
