Eagle Product Inspection will exhibit its latest x-ray machine, the EPX100 for packaged foods and goods, at the upcoming EastPack Show, June 12-14 at the Javits Convention Center in New York, New York, USA.

Eagle is partnering with Plant Automation Group at Booth #2233 at the EastPack event, which spotlights the latest packaging innovations and trends across the food and beverage, consumer goods, pharmaceutical, health and beauty and medical devices industries. Eagle’s team of experts will be on hand to explain and demonstrate the EPX100.

Recently introduced, the EPX100 utilizes Eagle's advanced x-ray technology to detect and automatically reject contaminants including glass shards, metal fragments, mineral stones, some plastic and rubber compounds and calcified bones. The system inspects products in cartons, plastic containers and pouches among other formats. Accompanying new SimulTask™ 5 image processing software – Eagle’s latest software advancement – provides greater operational visibility, with an intuitive interface.

“Our experts designed this system as a mainstream tool that is safe, simple and smart for small and mid-sized operators as well as global companies who want to standardize their detection solutions across a variety of products,” says Christy Draus, Marketing Manager for Eagle Product Inspection. “The EPX100 can be deployed quickly, efficiently and easily to help manufacturers protect their products and brands.”
