As a major member of Degussa Health & Nutrition Division, Texturant Systems is part of one of the largest food ingredient groups in the world. It develops, produces and markets worldwide, texturizing agents such as Alginates, Biopolymers (Xanthan Gum and Scleroglucan), Blends, Carrageenans, Emulsifiers, Galactomannans (Locust Bean Gum and Guar Gum), Lecithins, and Pectins, mainly used in all areas of the food industry, as well as in cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and some technical applications.

Texturant Systems operates globally, from purchasing to after-sales service, taking care of customers' needs all over the world. The production strategy is truly global, with raw material sourcing and production locations in Africa, America, Asia and Europe.

To ensure close proximity to customers, Texturant Systems provides its products and services through a network of some 20 sales locations, together with numerous local agents and distributors. Most of the sales affiliates are equipped with Technical Service Laboratories, enabling them to solve the technical problems any food producer faces every day.

The Application Service Centers in Asia, Europe, North and South America are highly experienced in satisfying global and local needs, tastes and preferences. Their main task is to develop new solutions and applications to support customers in their markets.
