Dedicated Ink Jet Coder for Eggs
Traditionally, ink jet egg coding systems have required interface equipment that interprets the grader communication protocol. The proper software for every available grader is integral to this printer. It can code up to three lines of mixed text and logos at the maximum production capacity of the largest graders. The egg coder can be supplied in two configurations: standard printer that is suitable for use outside the USA for coding onto eggshells, and printer that complies with FDA legislation for direct food coding. This configuration is a market requirement in the USA.
Both configurations use proprietary 445RD ink, a specially developed fast drying, boil resistant, self-disinfecting ink that complies with the requirements of the UK Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and the FDA for direct coding onto eggshells.
