Flexible Steel Lacing Companyg Light-Duty Lagging is designed to minimize belt slippage and extend pulley life in light/medium-duty conveyor systems using pulleys as small as 2 inches in diameter. Featuring a molded-in surface pattern of small, raised, flat-topped buttons that grip the belt while channeling away under-belt moisture, it provides pulley-to-belt traction across a range of operating and washdown conditions.
Offered in black rubber (SBR) or white nitrile rubber, the lagging is rated at 60–70 durometer hardness for resistance to abrasion. Black SBR lagging is better suited for outdoor applications, while nitrile lagging is suitable for food industry applications. The lagging is approximately 0.25 in. thick and supplied in rolls 7.9 in. W x 10.8 ft L.
