Conveyor Belt Cleats, Lugs and Pegs

Flexible Steel Lacing Companycally attached light-duty conveyor belt cleats, offered in the Tatch-A-Cleat line, allow for the customizing of standard conveyor belts for increased efficiency. Available in a variety of sizes and types, including lugs and pegs, attachable cleats are designed to enable belts to elevate their cargo at steeper inclines using shorter conveyors, carry loose or granular material more effectively, and perform basic size-sorting, counting or collating functions. The cleats are available in a variety of compounds, including FDA-accepted nitrile rubber, EPDM neoprene and isoprene.

The Model L paddle-type cleat is designed for conveyors transporting products that require cleats extending across the full width of the belt, such as small parts or packages and loose or granular materials. These cleats serve as a support to prevent product rollback. Individually attached lugs and pegs are also available to serve a variety of specialized needs.
