Upon installation completion, Shick service technicians arrive at your plant to perform a complete system check, inspecting every component and connection, and confirming that every guard and safety device is in place. Once the electrical installation is completed, our technician will begin a system power-up to test continuity to and from all system devices. Every input is checked, followed by the inspection of all motor rotations.

Next, output continuity is checked to ensure device synchronization, and a system "dry-run" is performed using the system's sequential operation to prove-out the PLC program. During this period the start-up technician fine-tunes your system, making any necessary adjustments. Final testing is completed by running your materials through the system.

After system testing is completed and your production begins, Shick's service technicians remain on site to adjust your system to its peak performance, recording all pertinent data and the parameters unique to your system for our permanent records.
