Cobra VI Automatic Stretch Wrapping Machine

ITW Mimaautomatic stretch wrapping of even the most difficult loads is now possible with the Cobra automatic stretch wrapping system. The wrapper's unique overhead rotary design spins a film web around a load which remains stationary during the wrap cycle, so even if the load is heavy, light, unstable or easily toppled, it can be wrapped.

The Cobra V and VI have specially reinforced structural components making them extremely strong yet surprisingly lightweight. The system is easily integrated into an existing conveyor system or can be used off line as a stand-alone system. Twenty-three and a half feet of powered conveyors move loads through the system at a maximum speed of 50 feet per minute.

Automatic load staging, centering and height sensing assures that every load, regardless of size or shape, is completely wrapped with a secure, unitizing web of stretch film. Increasing or decreasing the film elevator speed can control the amount of film applied to the load. Heavy, bulky loads can be wrapped with more film and lighter, more fragile loads with less film. The machine's patented heat seal "welds" the last rope of film to itself, thus eliminating the problem of film tails coming loose in transit.
