CLS 52 Conductivity Sensor

June 9, 2000, Greenwood, Indiana – Heralded as the only conductivity sensor providing a t90 response time for temperature compensated conductivity in less than 15 seconds, the CLS 52 is an indispensable tool for accurate conductivity readings in food and beverage applications.
Unique in design, the external RTD on the CLS 52 offers extremely accurate conductivity readings, even during temperature fluctuations that often occur during interface detection on the CIP systems. The external RTD also provides an accurate temperature measurement for control of the CIP system.
The CLS 52 conductivity sensor can determine the percent concentration of cleaning agents for the CIP process, or provide interface detection between water, product, and cleaning agents. With the CLS 52 users can easily determine where to begin packaging product, when to reclaim agents, and when to dump to drain.
Because the CLS 52 offers dual output of temperature and conductivity, the amount of instrumentation points can be reduced while maintaining an accurate control point. In addition, the CLS 52 ensures the fastest possible response time for detection of interface with different temperatures. With the CLS 52, maintenance and engineering costs, along with product and cleaning fluid waste, are minimized.
