Centrifugal Separator Operates In-Line With Pneumatic Conveyors

A sanitary Vibroscreen vibratory separator for pharmaceutical and other sanitary applications features clean-in-place spray heads for hands-free wash down. The screener is configured with two screening decks of identical mesh to ensure failsafe separations in the event of a screen failure. Three clean-in-place spray heads are required; one each for the upper, central and lower screening chambers. Quick disconnect clamps allow two-minute disassembly of all water supply hoses, clean-in-place spray head fittings, and separator body sections for inspection or screen changes.

The screener is offered in diameters from 18 to 100 in. (460 to 2540mm) in all-stainless construction finished to FDA as well as 3-A, USDA, BISSC and other sanitary standards.

Accessories available include ultrasonic and mechanical anti-blinding devices, and automatic long-term lubrication systems for gyratory motor bearings.

The screener is equipped with one imbalanced-weight gyratory motor positioned beneath the screening chamber. The motor imparts multi-plane inertial vibration to the spring-mounted screening decks, causing oversize particles to vibrate across the screen surface in controlled pathways to the screen periphery where they are discharged. Undersized particles pass rapidly through the screen and are discharged through a spout at the periphery of the bottom chamber.
