Candace K. Bryan Joins Heinz Board

The H. J. Heinz Company (Pittsburgh) board has elected Dr. Candace K. Bryan, Pharm. D., as a director. Dr. Bryan is chairman and CEO of Kendle International Inc., a leading full-service international clinical development organization headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Dr. Bryan has held a number of academic positions, including adjunct associate professor at the School of Pharmacy, University of Cincinnati from 1982-1984; and clinical associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania from 1979-1981. Dr. Bryan received her doctorate in pharmacy from the University of Cincinnati and her Epidemiology Fellowship at the University of North Carolina School of Public Health.

Kendle provides pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies with clinical testing and ancillary services for Phase I through IV studies.
