Bizerba Launches Partner Activities In Southeast Asia

Bizerba, the solutions provider from Balingen, and the Thai company Food Processing Technology (FPT) have signed a partnership agreement for the region of Southeast Asia. "After managing to gain four retail key accounts in China last year, we are particularly thrilled about this new partnership in the areas of industry and food processing. Our new partner FPT is one of the leading players in the region of Southeast Asia; our first appearance together at Food Pack Asia in Bangkok was already a complete success," explains Andreas Kraut, chairman of the board of directors at Bizerba.   

FPT was founded more than nine years ago in the Thai capital of Bangkok by Axel Arras, a master butcher and businessman from Hessen. Since then, the company has managed to reach first place in the systems business for complete facilities that are ready to go, also known as turnkey projects. The focus is primarily on back end solutions: from package separation to check weighers to palleting solutions.

"The special thing about this partnership is that we also represent Bizerba partners such as Handtmann, Multivac and Fessmann in Thailand, Vietnam and the neighbouring countries. This means that together we can implement complex projects for the processing of top-quality foods," says Axel Arras, managing director of Food Processing Technology.

In addition to the supply of Bizerba weighing technology and software for industrial use as well as food processing machines, cooperation between Bizerba and FPT's service teams is also planned.
