BetzDearborn, USFilter Partnership Offers Single Source for Wastewater Treatment
By coordinating their complementary industry know-how, technical expertise, operating experience and product resources, the two companies are offering customers single-source access to everything they need for the optimum management of water and wastewater treatment systems.
"One of the most exciting aspects of this agreement is that it creates an extraordinary depth of outsourcing capabilities," said William Micsky, vice president and general manager of BetzDearborn. "Working together, our companies can assume total responsibility for the efficient operation of any water system, starting from the ground up and including everything in the way of equipment, chemicals and management services. The agreement will expand the outsourcing sales of both companies."
The agreement covers existing business as well as new construction projects involving industrial and municipal water and wastewater treatment systems, including outsourcing the equipment, engineering, operations, maintenance and chemical management of industrial water treatment systems a customer sites. At present, the alliance will focus primarily on North America.
"Water is the world's most valuable resource. And no single supplier can offer water system operators the assistance that we can provide through this cooperative marketing effort," said Andrew Seidel, USFilter's president and chief operating officer. "Our companies are leaders in their fields, each with the assets, technologies, products and personnel to help customers maximize performance and reduce costs. Our customer-oriented cultures fit together very well."
