Eriez’ new Mill Magnet is designed to protect and prolong equipment life in ball/ SAG mill systems by removing worn and broken grinding media.

In most grinding applications the media are eventually worn down to the product size, or break into small irregular shapes and are discharged with the ground product. Fragments of grinding media eventually accumulate in the ore being processed and can cause serious damage to other equipment in the grinding circuit such as pumps and classifying cyclones.
