Bailey Controls Reorganizes Into Power and Process Units

In a major realignment, Bailey Controls (Wickliffe, Ohio) has consolidated its sales, marketing, engineering and project management resources into two distinct business units: one dedicated to the power generation industry, and the other to serving the process industries, including food and beverage. Bailey Controls is a unit of Elsag Bailey Process Automation.

"The close coupling of sales and marketing with project execution in industry-oriented business units will allow us to achieve a higher degree of customer satisfaction by leveraging our organization's many strengths and realizing greater efficiency in delivering our process automation technology," noted Dr. Donald Anthony, the company's president and COO.

Mr. Ron Walko has been named vice president and general manager of the Bailey Power Business Unit. He is also president of Electronic Technology Systems, Inc.

Mr. Charles Brez has been named vice president and general manager of the Bailey Process Business Unit, which will focus on the unique requirements of each industry segment and will oversee support for the company's worldwide strategic alliance with DuPont.

Bailey Process Business Unit capabilities include providing specialized solutions using sophisticated continuous and batch process control strategies, advanced application software, and professional services to help integrate process control with enterprise-wide information and resource management systems.

Elsag Bailey Process Automation provides automation systems, instrumentation, analytical products, and professional services to the process industries worldwide.
