AluScan Metal Detector

Contaminated product is automatically rejected without interrupting the production process

The AluScan metal detection system reliably detects ferrous and stainless steel contamination in aluminum packaged products. This includes Ready Meals, Pastry, Snack Foods, Frozen Ready-to-Eat Meal and more. The complete system consists of a conveyor, metal detector and reject station. It can be integrated quickly and easily into existing production lines.

For products taller than 50 mm, an additional sensor can be positioned overhead to ensure reliable detection.

• A high performance sensor-array detects even the smallest ferrous and stainless steel contaminants reliably in products packed in aluminum foils
• A new dynamic regulator in combination with a time window integrator assures selective rejection of individual packages event under close product spacing
• A highly effective input filter assures reliable operation in rough industrial environments
• The pneumatically actuated reject gate removes metal contaminated products reliably and with high precision even at high production speeds
