The AGA Freeze SC, a SuperContact cryogenic freezer from AGA, uses a unique disposable plastic film belting system
The AGA Freeze SC, a SuperContact cryogenic freezer from AGA, uses a unique disposable plastic film belting system designed to easily handle delicate, wet, sticky, and hard-to-handle products in an efficient and hygienic manner. AGA's SuperContact freezer eliminates marks or deformities from the freezer belt while enhancing sanitation and speeding production line changeover.

Product travels on a disposable plastic film that is in contact with the cold plates as it moves through AGA's SuperContact cryogenic freezer. The combination of fast and efficient freezing without wrinkled product means easier handling for further processing. Products as difficult as marinated products and even liquid products are suitable for this freezing system.

In AGA's SuperContact cryogenic freezer, cold plates are chilled to -196° C with vaporized liquid nitrogen. High-speed fans circulate the cold generated by the plates in the freezing tunnel to quickly freeze the upper surface of the product and ensure efficient use of the cold air.

The single-use plastic film belting allows processors to quickly and efficiently clean the SuperContact freezer at the end of each production run. The fast product changeover capability of the AGA Freezer SC increases uptime and maximizes frozen production line flexibility.

AGA supplies customized solutions for freezing and cooling as well as Modified Atmosphere Packaging worldwide.
