Commanding Excellence For Wrapping And Labeling Operations

Commander

Columbus, OH - METTLER TOLEDO is pleased to introduce the new Commander Automatic Wrapping system. Commander, operated by an innovative touch-screen controller, allows users to weigh, wrap, and custom-label product all in a compact and easy-to-use system.

Command Control
The interactive, color touchscreen display of Commander quickly guides the operator through search applications, which significantly reduces errors; or can be used as an onboard training tool with its full multi-media capabilities. For quick PLU lookup, Commander comes standard with pre-set keys with unlimited categorized preset pages (beef, pork, grinds) or an alpha search feature which helps users easily find items in the database. The multi-media display comes standard with sound allowing users to view maintenance videos, operating instructions or custom store training videos for new employees.

Command Value
With Commander, printed labels become dynamic merchandising tools. The system allows users to create custom labels with high definition graphics and logos using the SmartLabel tool. Commander is also available with a second printer for additional merchandising opportunities and the flexible and precise label placement assures uniform and attractive looking trays. Commander works with all tray sizes from 1S to 10x14 with no fine tuning required. Patented SOLO stretch technology allows for use of a single roll of film for all tray sizes which saves on film usage and provides the lowest cost and highest wrap quality in the industry.

Command Performance
Commander can be connected to most any network using a wired or wireless connection. Windows technology makes the Commander easy for users to integrate into their business. Commander can be configured remotely without operator intervention with a centrally controlled PLU file. Remote configuration reduces the need for technical assistance at the store level, resulting in lower total cost of ownership.

With the remote desktop, Commander can reduce service costs by remote operation. Any help desk or service personnel can log in remotely to work through problems, reconfiguration and more. The built-in report generator allows users to view standard reports such as cutting tests, PLU count by operator, total weight, total sales, manual over-rides or any store-specific customized report needed.
