It continuously determines the Brix valule of soft drinks, fruit juice and syrup. The °Brix concentration is determined by measuring the resonance frequency of a U-tube density meter. Depending on the density of the beverage, the frequency of the oscillation increases or decreases. High-precision time measurement of the period of oscillation is translated into accurate density results and thus °Brix concentration.
