HazeQC ME is a module for Anton Paar laboratory measuring instruments and analysis as Aloclyzer Plus or Generation M Systems. It is used to measure the turbidity of all kinds of liquids, especially beer and beer mixtures.

HazeQC ME is a module for Anton Paar laboratory measuring instruments and analysis as Aloclyzer Plus or Generation M Systems. It is used to measure the turbidity of all kinds of liquids, especially beer and beer mixtures.

Because of its flow-through measuring cell, HazeQC ME can be integrated into existing analysis systems. The cell can be pressurized with up to 6 bar. Given the use of the according filling devices, this enables automated filling and measurement. The entire system is controlled via the master instrument.

All parameters at once
In one single measuring cycle, the combination of HazeQC ME and PBA-B (Packaged Beverage Analyzer for Beer) determines a sample’s alcohol, density, CO2, O2*, pH*, beer color* and turbidity, without sample preparation and directly out of the package.

The parameter turbidity is added to the system’s data record as usual, and is therefore also easily transferred to the central data acquisition server. Values are optionally output in EBC, NTU or user-defined units.

Accurate and traceable turbidity measurement

  • Three-angle turbidity measurement (transmission 0°, scattered light at 25° and 90°) at 650 nm according to MEBAK and EBC
  • Approved ratio method eliminates the influence of particle size on the turbidity value
  • Highly accurate Peltier-thermostatted cell (0.01 °C stability)

Combinations for up to 7 parameters possible

  • Up to 7 parameters in one measuring cycle if used in combination with PBA-B (density, alcohol, beer color, pH, CO2, O2, turbidity)
  • Combination with all Generation M systems, with Alcolyzer Plus Beer, with Alcolyzer Plus Spirits or with the Beer Analyzing System (Alcolyzer Plus Beer, density meter, sample changer)
  • All measurements directly out of the bottle or can, no degassing required if using a PFD Filling Device
