Intralox has introduced a new, perforated top, modular plastic conveyor belt designed to reduce product loss when conveying cheese curd, rice, diced fruits and vegetables, and similar food products. Smaller slot dimensions reduce the loss of fine or small product, while still providing adequate open area (9%) for proper dewatering.

The Mesh Top belt is the most recent addition to the Series 800 perforated belt line. It can be driven by any of the existing Series 800 sprockets, and may be used in conjunction with all other Series 800 accessories (flights, sideguards, etc.). It is a durable, impact resistant belt, and like all Intralox Series 800 belts, it is FDA accepted.

The Series 800 Mesh Top Belt's slot dimensions reduce product loss; and they help maintain product quality by providing efficient drainage. And the new belt's "clean" design facilitates fast, thorough cleanup and helps operators meet increasing stringent sanitation demands.

The Series 800 Mesh Top is a center-driven, open hinge belt with nominal 2.0 inch (50.8mm) pitch. The smooth, closed upper surface has fully flush edges and recessed rods. Hole slots are 0.039 inch (1 mm) wide and 0.507 inch (12.9mm) long. It is stocked in white polypropylene.
