FSMA Fridays: What Does Being FSMA Compliant Really Mean? (Part One Of Four)
SafetyChain’s VP of Marketing, Jill Bender, is joined by the Acheson Group’s Dr. David Acheson to discuss what being compliant with FSMA really means and review guidelines for the legislation’s rules.
Jill Bender, VP of Marketing, SafetyChain Software: Hello, everyone and welcome to FSMA Fridays. My name is Jill Bender with SafetyChain; I am delighted to see everybody joining us for a special FSMA Fridays session. We have decided to extend this session as there have been a lot of questions in the last few FSMA Fridays that we thought would be important to address. Today’s special topic will be talking about what FSMA compliance really means and we are very excited about this extended session. Today will be a very interactive session. We highly encourage you, the live audience, to submit questions as today’s session we will be answering questions as they come in. To answer these questions in today’s FSMA Fridays session, we have Dr. David Acheson with us. Good morning.
Dr. David Acheson, Founder and CEO, The Acheson Group: Good morning, Jill.
Jill: Typically, we have one or two people on the session, whatever makes sense for the Acheson Group team, and we are very excited to have David with us this morning. Let’s go ahead and get started as we always do. What’s the latest and greatest that has been happened with FSMA for the past month? Please share.
