Spice recipes are manufactured within the Hermann Laue facility for its large Canadian and U.S. clients in industries like meat and poultry, fish and marine products, baked goods, ready-to-eat products, and many others. Advanced approaches for tackling metal detection in the food industry results in increased food safety by lowering the associated risks. Hermann Laue purchased its first Phantom large bag metal detector from Fortress Technology in 2005. Each 25kg bag of spice is inspected for any possible metal contamination.
