Super Strength Rare Earth Easy to Clean Grate in Housings are designed to remove small and weakly magnetic contamination from free flowing products like sugar, grain, chemicals, plastic pellets or resin.
With their single-skin tube design, iron captured by the magnets is removed with a stainless steel split ring sandwiched between two floating wipers. As each bank of magnets is pulled from the housing, the iron is stripped from the tubes outside the product zone and discharged through a small chute at the front of the housing. The traditional cleaning cycle is reduced to a simple pull-push operation.
Two sizes are currently available, each featuring Eriez' exclusive Super Strength RE5HP Rare Earth circuit. The 12.5-inch wide by 10-inch long (318 x 254mm) model is available for only $4,348.00 (US), while the 10.5-inch wide by 8-inch long (267 x 203mm) unit is only $3,284.00 (US).
