Texture Analysis Of Salsa Mixtures
Salsa is a popular tomato-based sauce that contains small pieces of vegetables such as corn, beans, peppers, onions, and, of course, tomatoes. Customer perception of “good” salsa is certainly based on taste, but can also be influenced by the texture. This latter variable is oftentimes overlooked, but can make the difference between a “good” product and the “perfect” salsa.
