Today's potent APIs (active pharmaceutical ingredients) have driven much of the industry to use Split Valves (SBVs) and Rapid Transfer Ports (RTPs) to connect not only to isolators but all types of processing equipment. SBVs and RTPs work under very close tolerances thus requiring all the handling equipment to be made very exact. Servolift lifters excel for such applications using several proprietary systems that guarantee 100% failsafe accuracy.
