- Compact solutions for the food and dairy sectors
- Individuality and modularity meet market needs
- Trend towards PET solutions still in focus
At Anuga FoodTec in Cologne from March 20 to 23, the KHS Group will present compact and flexible solutions specifically for the beverage, dairy and food sectors. The new KHS shred box filler for functional milk drinks enables the gentle filling of pieces up to 10 x 10 x 10 millimeters edge length. In addition, the Dortmund-based system provider will show further innovative innovations in the area of sensitive drinks. KHS presents its solutions at the Anuga FoodTec booth A60 / A68 in Hall 8.1.
"It brings many benefits to users when they combine fillers into a compact block solution with our Blomax stretch blow molder," says Thomas Redeker, Sales Director Dairy Europe at KHS. The flexible and compact filling and packaging solutions of the KHS Group ensure less space, greater safety and greater energy efficiency. For the sensitive area, the new block solutions can be realized both rotationally and linearly. The sustainable filling technology is expandable according to customer requirements and thus quickly available on the market. That's right for the time: regardless of whether it's a yoghurt drink or an out-of-home breakfast, there is an increasing demand for more diverse products and packaging.
Flexible solutions for all applications
Sensitive in this context means any non-carbonated bottling, which is particularly gentle. It does not matter whether it's fruit juices, dairy or liquid food products, whether Ultra Clean Filling, Extended Shelf Life or aseptic filling is needed. Should an additional function become necessary after some time, it can be easily retrofitted with the modular solutions from KHS. "We've completed our portfolio for the sensitive area and offer solutions for many applications," says Redeker. Customers now benefit from an even wider range of options.
In the area of piece filling, KHS is expanding its portfolio with its own shred box filler, which allows the gentle filling of pulps with pieces of an edge length of up to 10 x 10 x 10 millimeters. The new Doseur can be used in all linear solutions and complements the previous filling system. This novelty will be on site. Another focus of the trade fair is the individual production of PET packaging, also in combination with the FreshSafe-PET ® coating system , which combines the advantages of glass and plastic to protect the product in one bottle.
Focus on sustainability and resource efficiency
"The consumer trend is currently moving towards PET," says Redeker. "Even in food areas where glass bottling has traditionally been the norm, manufacturers are increasingly favoring flexible and lightweight plastic." KHS has a special solution for flat-oval PET containers, which are frequently used in products such as ketchup or cooking oil special heating process, the so-called Preferential Heating, for these containers optimal material distribution and bottle quality is possible. Even a very precise neck orientation is possible application-specific.
In addition, KHS 'Bottles & Shapes program offers individual support for those who are looking for the best possible PET packaging for their product. In addition to the recently realized light weights for still water or the PET bottle with screw cap for highly carbonated drinks, KHS convinces with a 1-liter bottle for milk and milk-based drinks, which weighs only 20 grams. In cooperation with Münster University of Applied Sciences, KHS has also developed trend-setting bottle design concepts.
Service concept refined
In order to ensure that everything goes as smoothly as possible for every customer after the purchase, KHS attaches great importance to excellent service. For this purpose, the preventive maintenance concept for aseptic machines, which offers fixed maintenance modules at fixed prices, has been optimized and further developed. The advantage: Even better plan and cost calculability for the customers.
The compact labeling machine Innoket Roland 40 can still be seen from KHS and yet at another stand. It can be equipped with different labeling stations to label a wide variety of containers, from canned goods to glass bottles. The Innoket Roland 40 is characterized by its ease of use and the usual high KHS quality standard. At Florin Gesellschaft für Lebensmitteltechnologie mbH in hall 10.1 at booth E20 / F29, the solution for the performance range of 2,500 to 25,000 containers per hour is set up.
