In part one of FSMA Fridays: Food Safety & Quality Operations Survey Results, SafetyChain Software’s VP of Marketing, Jill Bender was joined by The Acheson Group’s (TAG) founder and CEO Dr. David Acheson to discuss the results of a recent SafetyChain/TAG survey for food safety and quality operations professionals. Here, in part two, the duo continues the conversation.

Jill: With regards to FSMA preparations and what folks have done now that we're well into compliance requirements, our survey reveals quite a bit of variance in levels of preparedness. What are your thoughts on this, David?

David: Again, keep in mind Jill, and I'm sure we could run the numbers on this one and do a split between the more than 500 people or the less than 500 people. If we did split this when we put the final report together on this, I think we would perhaps indicate that the level of completeness was greater in the larger companies because they've 12 months to be compliant. That would be my guess.
