EtQ is pleased to announce that its Chief Executive Officer, Glenn McCarty, spoke at the ISO 9000 conference held in Orlando, FL at the Rosen Plaza Hotel from March 9-10.

McCarty spoke on the topic of Risk Assessment and how it can be used to affectively minimize Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs). He also discussed the techniques for automating and identifying Risk, as well as the concept of Risk mitigation as a measure of verification and effectiveness.

"This topic covered the benefits of Quantitative Risk Assessment, such as how Risk Assessment can filter the high-risk events from low-risk events, enabling the high-risk events to be handled more efficiently and thereby reducing an organizations overall exposure to risk in its manufacturing operations," stated McCarty. "We also discussed details such as how this filtering of non-critical events will reduce the amount of CAPAs, and how an organization can leverage Quantitative Risk Assessments all the way back to product design enabling them to quickly identify the appropriate risk level and resolution for quality events." EtQ was also an exhibitor at the ISO 9000 conference, located in booth 5.
