Darren Lowitt Named Director Of Materials At Hytrol Conveyor Company, Inc.

Hytrol Conveyor Co., Inc. recently hired Darren Lowitt as the new Director of Materials. Lowitt comes from Coatesville, Pennsylvania where he served as the Manager of Supply Chain for a multi-billion dollar aerospace company.

Lowitt brings more than 20 plus years of manufacturing and supply chain experience to the company. He plans to draw upon his extensive experience to focus on strategic sourcing, reducing cost, and increasing vendor proficiency. He will work hand in hand with suppliers to meet strategic production schedules, which will support customers with superior on-time delivery and quality.

Along with his experience in the industry, Lowitt has traveled and worked internationally. When asked what brought him to Hytrol, Lowitt stated, “I was attracted to Hytrol because of their outstanding reputation in the material handling industry. I knew they were an industry leader and am fortunate to have the opportunity to work for a well-established and respected company.”

Mr. Lowitt holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Gordon University.
