Eriez® offers two permanent, non-electric bar magnets to meet many automation, separation and holding requirements. "These powerful and economical magnets are ideal for a wide variety of applications," said John Mackowski, Product Manager.

The Bantam™ Magnet is used as a holding magnet or retaining and controlling magnet in automation processes. Its high magnetic separation capability is ideal for the removal of fine iron and small tramp iron from shallow flows of slow-moving, non-sticky material.

The Bantam Magnet is available in standard widths ranging from 4 to 72 inches (102 to 1829 mm) and approximate weight from .72 to 12.96 pounds (.33 to 5.90 kg). Mount over or under material flow-studs provide simple and easy installation.

Magna-Bar is powered by Erium™ 25, the Ceramic V barium ferric oxide magnetic material designed and energized by Eriez for this assembly. Magna-Bar packs more magnetic strength than any available magnet of comparable size and type.

Magna-Bar is typically used as a magnetic fanner for fanning small, light gauge stampings, to hold and control parts in magnetic handling and conveying operations and as a holding magnet in rack and other overhead conveying systems. It is available in standard widths measuring 4 to 72 inches (102 to 1829 mm) and approximate weight ranging from .36 to 15 pounds (.36 to 6.8 kg).

Removable, equally-spaced angle mounting brackets are furnished for ease of installation and to permit adjusting of the mounted Magna-Bar.
