In 1929, Smith Tank began operations in Tyler Texas, serving the booming East Texas Petroleum Industry. Initially a supplier of stationary and truck-mounted tanks for petroleum products, Smith has expanded its product offerings over its more than 70 years of operations.

Today, we are a favored supplier of liquid storage systems for the food industry, a major supplier of horizontal and vertical aboveground storage tanks (AST's) for the petroleum and chemical industries, and a supplier worldwide of water and fuel hauling bobtail truck tanks.
