The Delta Wrapper brings a new generation of wrapping technology to bakeries, confectioners, snack food and other prepared food manufacturers who use horizontal flow wrapping. Driven by advanced software, the wrapper uses servo motors, integrated with the company's precision infeed systems, to deliver a packaging system that is flexible, reliable and easy to maintain. SoftFlow technology provides the wrapper with a PC controller "one box" solution to motion control that enables a seamless integration of traditional three-box control systems for improved efficiency, decreased production bottlenecks and expanded throughput.
Speeds of up to 1000 packages per minute results from the modular design of the wrapper; the design also facilitates easy upgrades. The quick-change film arbor of the wrapper allows quick product changeover with no film adjustments, and touch screen software means efficient changeover from memorized product settings. A no-product, no-wrap feature is coordinated by software linkages between twin electronic eyes and the film dispensing unit. Use of servo motors thoughout significantly reduces the amount of maintenance required to keep the wrapper in top operating condition.
