A natural sweetener derived from the juices of the organically grown and cultivated blue agave plant, Agave Syrup is a juice concentrate used as a sweetener and is a natural source of fructose. The syrup shows such a low glycemic reading that the sweetener, used to flavor cereals, fortify bread products and nutrition bars, enhance fruit concentrates and sweeten desserts and candy, is totally free of the peaks and valleys associated with the ingestion of sugar and other high-glucose products.
Agave Syrup Light (97%) has the lowest glycemic values of any food tested to date. Because it is so low-glycemic, it is absorbed by the body slower, without causing a spike in blood sugar like so many other sweeteners do.
The syrup is available in the following packaging: pails, drums, totes, tank truck and rail car. It is available for immediate shipment.
