Datasheet: ScanTrac Piccolo Compact Side View X-Ray Inspection System
The Piccolo extends the ScanTrac side view x-ray inspection to high speed non-rigid package inspection. Installed over existing conveyors, Piccolo detects a wide range of contaminants and confirms product and package contents simultaneously.
Applications include wrapped food products such as crackers, cookies, and candies and plastic packages such as yogurt cups, puddings, and small cartons.

Detects Low Density Contaminants
Using the most sensitive x-ray tube design, Piccolo can detect
paper in paper containers and low contrast plastic contaminants
in many non-rigid packages.
