Save The Date — Poultry Facilities Food Defense Workshop

Join the Arkansas Association for Food Protection (AAFP) Thursday, September 15, 2016 at the Chancellor Hotel in Fayetteville, AR from 8am until 12pm as it hosts the FBI Food Defense TTX and Workshop on food defense in poultry facilities.

Protecting the food supply requires a robust public health, law enforcement, regulatory, and private sector partnership capable of preventing, detecting, and responding to intentional food borne outbreaks. The objective of this workshop and TTX are to: improve incident response planning; increase industry awareness of food defense concepts; identify and implement best practices for food defense; and strengthen partnerships among, and promote awareness of roles, responsibilities, authorities, and resources of each stakeholder.
