When precise weighing and feeding of dry materials is required, Schenck Process’ DEA stainless steel weighbelt feeders provide weight controlled feeding, weight indication and totalization for fragile materials like cereals, snack foods, kibble, fruits, and pasta. DEA Weighbelt feeders are offered in 12” and 24” belt widths with easy belt detensioning and removal, BIC (belt weight influence compensation), accuracies of ± 0.25% to 1% of set rate sigma, and feed rate capabilities up to 1,680 cubic feet per hour.
Our open frame weighbelt feeder is perfect for environments requiring higher sanitary levels. Unique features of the open frame model include tool-less, rapid belt removal for frequent cleaning cycles, an IP69K stainless steel load cell manufactured to withstand high pressure spray, a shaft mounted, wash-down drive system for simple power transmission, and product contact surfaces with 316 stainless steel.
