Pet Food Dry Kibble Validation Summary

Source: Roka Bioscience, Inc.

Differences in kibble product formulations can complicate traditional pathogen detection methods, adding time and cost to the testing process. The purpose of this study was to validate the Atlas Salmonella Detection Assay for 375g kibble samples using a non-proprietary media with various sample-to-media ratios at 18-24 hour enrichment times.

Two Validation Studies were conducted for the Dry Kibble Matrix

Several enrichment procedures were validated on the Atlas System, thus allowing labs to utilize the enrichment scheme that is best suited to their specific kibble in the shortest turnaround time possible. The data collected is a summary of studies completed by an independent 3rd party lab Food Science Center. Learn more by requesting the Validation Summary today.
