Liquiphant FTL50H is used for empty pipe detection to prevent (PD) Positive Displacement Pump from running dry.
The Liquiphant point level switch detects when there is no fluid in the process line. This information is used to shut off the PD pump to protect it from running dry, a potentially costly event.
The Liquiphant is a level limit switch for use in all liquids
- For temperatures between -40° to 300°F (-40° to 150°C) li>Pressures up to 930 psi (64 bar)
- Viscosity up to 10,000 cP
- Densities from 0.5 SGU or 0.7 SGU,
The function is not affected by flow, turbulence, bubbles, foam, vibration, bulk solids content, or buildup.
