- Contaminant - metal, glass, rock, bones, and other foreign matter
- Fill level - product fill height

- Dents - found automatically by the contaminant inspection
- Upside down cans - found automatically by the contaminant inspection
- Seam irregularities - found automatically by the contaminant inspection
- Miscellaneous - any other problem with can shape or integrity
